B-Global has been awarded the RosettaNet award for implementing the most RosettaNet Projects for its customers during 2006 at the RosettaNet award ceremony held on 4th December 2006. The award was presented by Herman Stiphout, the President of RosettaNet worldwide. This is B-Global’s second RosettaNet award for their achievements in RosettaNet solution implementation.
B-Global’s partners, Dell and TM Net, also received awards on the night. TM Net was awarded for commendable achievement in enabling RosettaNet solutions in 2006. Dell received the first prize award for the greatest number of RosettaNet implementations carried out with its trading partners during 2006. Intel received the second prize in the same area.
Since the partnership between Dell, TM Net and B-Global was formed in 2003 to connect Dell’s supply chain through the RosettaNet-enabled Trade Engine, almost 200 of Dell’s trading partners located across the globe have been linked up to Dell’s Asia Pacific operations. The RosettaNet awards received by B-Global, Dell and TM Net mark the next step in the success of the e-SupplyChain for Dell roll out.
RosettaNet standards offer a robust nonproprietary solution for companies to create collaborative business environments with one another, allow them to create and exchange standard business processes, as well as link into unlimited number of global trading communities. According to RosettaNet Malaysia the number of RosettaNet connections within Malaysia has increased from 4132 in December 2005 to 10,082 in November 2006, thanks in part to the efforts of B-Global, Dell and TM Net.
